River Grove Bible Church - Where Love Reaches Out

Dr. Richard and Marilyn Wahl

Richard and Marilyn began ministry at River Grove Bible Church in July of 1997. They moved from Michigan where they both grew up. In Michigan they had pastored two other churches. Marilyn is a marvelous First Lady and works with our Awana Program. Marilyn attended Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music and Muskegon Community College.

Richard is an active member of IFCA International, www.ifca.org. He currently serves on the board of the Northern Illinois Regional of the IFCA. Richard graduated from Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music in 1977. Over the years he has continued his studies through Carolina University of Theology and Southwest Bible College earning Masters Degrees in both Christian Counseling and Ministry and a Doctorate in Ministry.

Richard and Marilyn were able to travel to Isreal and Jordan in 1999.

Herman and Roselyn Bingham

Herman is one of our Elders. Herman is presently the Chairman of our Board. He has been a member of the church for over 50 years. Herman retired from DeSoto Inc., where he was a Systems Analyst. He and Roselyn make their home in River Grove, IL.

Herman and Roselyn say of our church: "River Grove Bible is a friendly church where Scripturally sound messages are preached by our pastor. Pastor Wahl and his wife Marilyn convey warmth and compassion to everyone."

Harold and Doris Guill

Harold is one of our Elders. He is presently Chairman of our Elder Board. Harold has been a member of the church for over 50 years. Doris supervises our music, leads our choir and plays both piano and organ. Harold and Doris are one of our favorites in providing special music. Harold retired from Midwest Concrete Produces where he was the Yard Superintendent. He and Doris live in Northlake, IL.

Harold and Doris say of our church: "When we first began attending River Grove Bible Church in 1954, the people were friendly and caring; that has never changed. The congregation continues to be missionary minded. We have been blessed with strong Bible-oriented men of God as pastor and shepherd. This truly is a 'Bible Church.'"

Alex and Rodica Popa

Alex is one of our Elders. Alex has been a member of the church for over 10 years. Alex and Rodica help with our youth. Rodica is Commander or our Awana Program; Alex also works with our Awana Program (www.awana.org). Alex takes care of our sound system. Rodica leads our Praise Songs and often shares in special music. Alex and Rodica are self-employed. He and Rodica live in Chicago. You can contact Rodica concerning our Awana Program at awanacommander@sbcglobal.net.

Phil and Shirley Laudati

Phil is one of our Deacons. Phil is presently the Chairman of our Deacon Board. Phil has been a member of the church for 15 years. Shirley helps to coordinate our potluck meals. He and Shirley live in Darien, IL.

Freddy and Laura Manna

Freddy is our Church Clerk. He and Laura help with our Awana program. He and his wife live in River Grove, IL.
